There are 6 inlet vents and one outlet vent. They are all opened and closed by a one piece plug. The earflaps are soft. There are large openings in the earflaps for better hearing. The interior padding is velvet and also removable.
The Air'X is shipped with removable fit pads to accommodate the wide range of sizes offered by each model. The thicker set come pre-installed in the helmet (for the smallest of the sizes). To reach a size 63+, replace the pads with the thinner set and reposition the adjustable back strap in the velcro to allow a little more room.
Vents are adjusted by removing the one piece vent plug.
